My seven year old son lost his milkteeth a year ago. when do we expect his permanent teeth?

Question:
four upper incissor teeth came out naturally. no physical abnormalities

Answers:
Take him to a dentist.
In a week or 2, I guess.
probly they will start comeing in in a month or to
should be out by now.
Well, if his dental xrays don't show any problems with the second set, they'll probably drop soon.

Although the timing is different for every kid, you might want see his dentist just to be sure.
Hi there,

I found out from my dentist about a yr ago that my back milk teeth came out and grown up teeth never came through. Apparently 1 in 10 ppl don't get all their adult teeth. I am not trying to worry you at all I am sure his teeth will come in their own good time but my molars never made an appearence...

Strange huh.

Speak to your dentist if you are really worried about it I am sure they will be able to give you a better time frame
the milktooth falls out because there is another tooth pushing .meaning there should be a new tooth somewhere in you kid's mouth where the old one was
Hi! I've been in dentistry over over 25 years. Don't worry, they will drop in any where from 1-6 months. Most are pretty quick one the primary teeth are out. Just relax. I had some children take as long as 6 months, but once they came in the were perfect. Each child is different. Some start as early as 5-6. Each child has his own time schedule and if you are concerned after a few months the dentist can take an Xray and see the progress, but I don't think you will need to do that. If you have any other questions, please ask. Marie
As he lost them naturally not as the result of a fall or a dental extraction I'm surprised they have not been replaced by his adult teeth yet. Also for all four to come out at once seems a little unusual too.
Not for at least he reaches 12.the others will fall off in due course
Should be seeing them by now, seven is quite late to start losing them.
Best get him to a dentist wwho will put your mind at rest.
In comparison our youngest is 6 and has 7 second teeth.
I have one molar that doesn't have an adult tooth to it. that might be his problem. They just left my tooth in there and if it falls out I'll have to get a fake tooth.
