Dry Socket and sneezing?

Question:
I know that you're supposed to avoid sneezing after getting your wisdom teeth removed, but what do you do if you feel a sneeze coming on and can't stop it? What's the "safe way" to sneeze so that you don't get dry socket?

Answers:
you know how there is a little dip right under most people's noses and above their lips. If you press your finger there when you feel like you are going to sneeze, you don't have to sneeze anymore. I didn't think this would actually work, but it does!
my guess would be to leave your mouth open and try to not have pressure where your removal was!~
Sneezing can disrupt the tissue between the sinuses and the socket where the tooth was, so it only is an issue for upper teeth. Dry sockets are much less likely to happen in upper teeth anyway, so that is a help. Trying to stifle a sneeze would build up greater pressure in the sinuses than just letting it rip. Smoking is a much greater risk for dry socket.
