I am in a bind, need a dentist, no insurance, what do I do?

You might look for a local dental school as they charge considerably less for treatment and the students are well trained and supervised. Or, ask someone you know for a recommendation or call offices and inquire if they will work with a payment plan.
Also, look at this link to the American Dental Association website that discusses finances and "Care Credit" which they endorse.

Hope that helps and good luck!

Is there like a community health center? Here where I live, there's a community health center and there's also a dentist in the same building, and they only charge according to your income and such; they will work with you when it comes to payments.
Where I used to live there was a community college with dentistry as a major. Try and call the community colleges in your area and have a student work on them. If you do find this to be a possiblity...don't worry they are watched very closely by the Teachers.
I am not sure how serious your condition is but I would suggest going to a pharmacy and having a pharmacist recommend something over the counter.
Not sure of discount dentists but some dental clinics offer instalment plans. If I were you I would call some clinics and find out available options.
