Please help problem !?
okay so I have to go to the dentist tommorow And A while back I had a friend who had like metal nails sticking out of her mouth she had them for I don't know what reason but she had braces and they came with them now I want to know if Im gonna get them because I have a pretty big over bite and my teeth aren't aligned if so tell me what I will get done on me !
Does saliva swapping/transfer have any affect on dental health?

First thing your dentist will do if he/she thinks you need orthodontics (braces) is give you a referral to another office (or perhaps an orthodontist in their practice) for a consultation. There they will take xrays and impressions of your teeth and then give you an appointment to come back and discuss their findings. Based on the films (and some measurements they take from them) they will give you an idea of how they would treat you, how long it would take and how much it would cost. My orthodontist treated me with one method while I know of another orthodontist who would have probably treated me completely differently. So just wait and see, don't get worried now since you may have a totally different treatment plan...

You will probably have to have the same thing done that your girl friend had done,specially if your over bite is that bad.
