Is there a way a person with no income or insurance can see a dentist?

Question:
I know someone who desperately needs about $10k work done. Her health is in jeopardy without it. Is there a state program or anything I can refer her to?

Answers:
Check with your friend's state department of social services. (Name may vary from state to state.)

Your friend could also check with local churches or other community centered charities.

Don't forget to check with schools/colleges of dentistry.
Contact your county's department of health and human welfare aka social services.
in Colorado there is a program call the Colorado Indigent Care Program, check to see if theres one in your state, most have them, you can get medical and dental care based on income. good luck to your friend!
call any reputable dentist and tell them the story. Most states have some kind of program for these problems and if they dont, then there is a group of dentists that donate time and services . Any dentist will know how to refer her .
