Describe ''crest white stripes''?

Question:
Are they good? Are they expensive? Please explain?

Answers:
Overall I would say that most of my patient's have had some measure of success with the Crest Whitestrips, some more than others. Our office uses Crest Supreme which are much stronger than what you can buy in a drugstore and don't cost that much more ($60.00 vs $30.00). You can purchase the drugstore version, but do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar or plaque) will impede their ability to work. Also, don't use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). The strips are probably your best low price alternative, much less than in office whitening or custom trays (about $500.00). I am also hearing happy reviews with the Aquafresh whitening trays, unlike the strips they don't have the tendency to slip or move). All of the methods (strips, trays, custom trays, in office whitening) have the potential to make your teeth temporarily sensitive, but will not harm the enamel. If you get sensitive use the product every other day in conjunction with a whitening toothpaste. You might try to drink dark liquids through a straw and don't smoke. Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective. Whatever method you use it will not whiten your teeth for life, as you age your teeth will get darker and may need to be whitened again.

Good luck!

I used those once and they work well, but are a bit expensive. After about a week though they started to really make my teeth sensitive so I stoped using them because they make my mouth hurt so much.
Ive been using them for a while ..they have worked nicely for me and because my teeth are sensitive the are less abrasive then options at my dentist office. My hygienist and dentist both commented on my teeth looking white! The price isn't bad either ..I think the average is like 30 dollars or so, but keep your eyes open Ive gotten them on sale a few times!
They can be pretty pricey when using multiple treatments. They caused my gums to become inflamed and recede. However, they did do an excellent job of whitening my teeth. I found that putting some baking soda directly on my teeth and then brushing them once got them as white as did a week of using the strips.
The Crest white strips I use are the Crest Premium. You use them twice a day for thirty minutes. You don't have to brush before you use them. They do not have a bad taste. They go for about 30 dollars for 7 days (pricey) but they work very well for over the counter strips. They stick to your teeth well because they are a plastic strip that adheres to your teeth with little sucion like dots along the strip. I suggest you use them I love them!
