Doctors help?

In my opinion I would say the reason is gingivitis.Gingivitis is the inflammation or infection of the gums caused by buildup. There are two kinds of buildup, (#1) soft sticky plaque which turns into (#2) tartar that is hard like cement. If you haven't had a cleaning you should see a dentist or hygienist for a checkup, xrays (if needed) and a cleaning. During the cleaning the plaque and tartar will be removed. Although you can remove plaque at home by flossing and with brushing 2-3 times a day the tartar cannot be removed because it is too hard and often inaccessible. You must get rid of this infection or it can evolve into periodontal disease, which is when the bone surrounding your teeth begins to breakdown. This disease leads to chronic bad breath, cavities and eventually loss of teeth. Dental (mouth) health is directly related to a healthy body.So no, bleeding gums are not normal but a sign of infection or other medical problem
Hope that helps!

most likely it is coming from your gums. it is normal it may signs of gingivitis, meaning your gums are becoming unhealthy. You need to floss more and use Listerine. Don't stop doing because they are bleeding, it just means do it more often. If you do it faithfully for a week or two the bleeding should go away. If not maybe it is time to have your teeth cleaned.
NOT normal. I suggest a visit to your dentist for a proper cleaning and to get a proper diagnosis on your gums. You need to be flossing EVERYDAY.
Well yes and no... You need to brush yor teeth to get rid of plaque. If yuo have not brushed for a while, the the gums get irritated by plaque, and bleed when you brush them. Thing is you need to brush them to get rid of the polaque. Catch 22. don't brush too hard, and do it with lots of toothpaste on a regular basis, and things should improve pretty quickly.
