I think i swallowed a bracket?!?!?

Question:
ok i had a lose bracket, and i was eating, and i heard it pop or sumthing but i didnt pay attention to it and when i tried to wiggle it nothing was there...i tihnk i swallowed it ! what do i do?? do they have to take everything (my braces) off of my teeth??!?!

Answers:
I dont think swallowing a bracket will affect your eating habits. Maybe they will just put on another bracket and connect it to your braces. I understand that putting on braces is very uncomfortable. But rest assure, the doctors will hope the patients feel no pain.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Call your dentist as soon as possible, they should be able to tell you what to do.
You $#@! it out of your a$$hole. what else? It's not gonna bother you, don't worry about it. Go to your ortho and they'll glue a new bracket onto your tooth. Your other brackets are fine and won't snap off, unless they're loose too.
no your fine they will just put a new bracket on that tooth and reconnect the wire, It happened to me several times! As far as swallowing the bracket you will pass it just fine.
u will be fine.i dont think eating a little bracket will hurt u. and if make an app. with ur ortho, they will just put a new bracket on
No, it's no big deal, when I was getting a bracket replaced once they dropped the new down my throat and I was fine and they just gave me a new bracket.
