My mouth hurts still...what should I do...?

Question:
I went to the dentist yesterday to get two fillings..they gave me like four shots of novacaine...two on each side above the two teeth...one hour of getting four tools shoved into my mouth at once what fun...but really my mouth hurts still kinda bad...What should I do...?

Answers:
that should be normal, but if a few days past and it still hurts then call the dentist. good luck.
call your dentist to ask if that is normal
You can take Advil, Ibuphropen, Tylenol or any other over the counter pain reliever and it will help. I just went to the dentist two days ago and am experiencing the same thing. It's quite traumatic to our gums and teeth and some pain is normal. It should subside in a day or two.
Gargle with warm salt water.
Take two paracetomal every four hours. It can take up to a week for your mouth to settle down - sorry!
Take some over the counter pain reliever like tylenol, ibuprofen, or advil. Don't worry this is normal.
