Question about fillings?

Question:
I had two fillings on both upper sides of my mouth for about six months, and they fell out. I'm not exactly sure when this happened because I did not notice a change in any of my daily oral hygiene routines, but upon asking a friend to check for me, it appears that they have indeed fallen out.

Here are my questions. Do I need to immediately have them refilled? If so, is it likely that I will need any sort of numbing for when the fillings are being replaced? I'm not really worried about getting a shot but I like to be prepared so any help is appreciated. :)

HELLO,
I LOVE ANIMALS TOO.
YOUR FILLINGS SHOULD BE REFILLED. WAITING UNTIL THE NEW YEAR BEGINS WILL BE FINE.
DON'TJUST FORGET ABOUT THEM. YOU MAY NEED A SHOT FOR THE FILLINGS, BUT DON'T LET THAT FRIGHTEN YOU. THINGS WILL BE FINE.
SEE A DENTIST NOW TO FIND OUT WHY THESE FILLINGS FELL OUT?
IF YOU WANT GET THEM FILLED THEN. GOOD LUCK.
sweetheart dont worry. your fillings fell out because your dentist is not either doing a good job and using the wrong technique. usually fillings are cleaned up every 6 months, yeah, i havent changed mines in 2 years because i cant tolerate pain and they havent fallen out and i know dam well for sure my dentist is qualified. oh and u will get pricked with a needle just to numb the area so u wont feel pain and if u dont get them filled, your cavities will get so bad that it will eat up until it reaches the nerves and might have 2 get the tooth pulled out so dont wait toooo long! and change your dentist!
