Should i whiten my teeth before i get braces or after?

Well, it mostly would depend on if you are getting trays made for you for the bleaching. If you do it before your braces, the trays won't fit after the ortho is finished and you'll have to have new trays made so you can touch - up the color. Otherwise.it doesn't matter. The problem with bleaching usually is sensitivity and if you then get your braces your teeth may be very sensitive to colds and sore at the same time...personally I would wait. Then it is an overall nice new look.
Usually it is done after. But you can do it before if you wish, but it might be wasting your money. you wont' be able to tell once they are on anyway.
It should be after they take them away from you, and take care of no smoking or eating strong colored food like beet during the treatment, cause it may stain your teeth. Besides, you have to wash them immediately after eating to prevent cavities. Good luck, is hard to have braces, but it is worth the trouble.

Merci!
