My 3 year old daughter's front tooth is turning dark?
Question:
Answers:
My friend's son is 5 and his front tooth has been grey since he was 3 and knocked it pretty hard when he fell down. The dentist told her it was dead and advised her to just leave it alone and let nature take its course. He sees the dentist twice a year. Do take your child in for a personal opinion, but I wouldn't worry in the mean time.
It is ok.
Just help her brushing teeth regularly
If she has had a lot of antibiotics, she could still have tooth decay. It could also be that it is dying.
My goddaughter had a lot of ear infections (her mom smoked) and she had a lot of antibiotics. They said that caused a big cavity in her tooth.
She did have it filled.
wow! its probably dead it sounds like..hmmm they probably gotta yank it caues it could infect other teeth. its in the roots.. but i dont think its anything serious..that could damage her for the rest of her life..but yeeh the best thing to do is call the dentist and set up an appointment A S A P
Was there any trauma to the tooth. Normally if the tooth was hit it would become grey. It means the root is dying. Have the dentist take an xray. Most likely if it is not causing any problems they will just keep an eye on it.
if she drinks juice with acids in the mouth it can make it turn black that's what happened with my dad he drank a lot of apple juice amd all his bottom teeth turned black P.S. he still has them
