Is it ok to eat cold cereal after i had my wisdom tooth extracted?

Question:
i was just wondering if cold cereal would be fine, becaus i am tired of soup.

Answers:
Not the first few days. Try something else soft like pudding, jell-o, oatmeal stuff like that. You don't want anything to get stuck in your tooth pocket. Just hang in there.
Don't eat anything crunchy for a few days.
i just recently got mine out a week ago, and it depends, if its the 3rd day then make sure its not something that wouldn't poke your gums
Ouch!!
Cold will help more than warm things. Especially if you're still in pain. As for texture... You need to wait at least three days before moving to softer foods (requiring slight chewing). The important piece is to protect the stitches and the gums. If you eat certain things too soon or don't drink enough, you can end up with dry socket.

Your dentist or oral surgeon should have provided some instruction for you on the food issue.
when you get your wisdom teeth taken out...
your gums because extremely sensitive and you
HAVE to eat smushy for 2 days at least or more.
