try oil of cloves rubed on the gums
or even bonjella
ive had it loads of times, try going asleep and you should right as rain when you wake up :D
I feel for you, i had dental problems a few weeks ago. oil of cloves worked, try not to get it on your tongue.
paracetamol
if you are still in lots of pain go back to the dentist, you might need antibiotics for the infection
hope it goes away soon, tooth pain is worse than having a baby!!
no cloves please.it can relieve pain but can cause a small chemical burn in the mouth.I suggest bonjela and hot salt water mouth rinse.take an anti inflammatory + analgesic.u will be alrite.
I have a toothache at the moment, am waiting to see the dentist, apart from bonjela and cloves my get out of pain clause has been disprin extra (soluble) first class try them and wait for the pain to go, good luck
Sorry to hear you're in discomfort. If you've taken painkillers ten minutes ago then be a little more patient as they do take time to work. If probably feels worse now because your mouth is coming back to life and you often get a tingling sensation which will make the pain feel worse. I would persevere with the painkillers, but don't take over the stated dose. Sometimes the soluble painkillers are good to use after dental surgery as you can rinse them around your mouth before swallowing them and this will help deaden the spot. If the Dentist gave you painkillers keep taking only those but if you do try the soluble ones, paracetamol maybe make sure you read the enclosed leaflet and ask the chemist if it's safe for you to use them. It might be a good idea to ring the chemist and ask what you could buy over the counter for this sort of pain he will advise you and you can also buy drops and things to apply to the painful area to deaden it. If the pain doesn't start to improve by tomorrow or the swelling gets really bad ring your Dentist, it might be a good idea to ring him anyway and ask if this is normal, just to get his advise, he'll be glad to help. Try putting something warm against your face that can help, maybe a hot water bottle (not too hot) wrapped in a towel.
Well sorry I can't help more hope you feel better soon, it's horrible isn't it, all the best!
