All bad habits are harmful one way or another.
Hi,

I would presume the bottle caps are made of plastic. Plastic are less harmful than metal but I still would think this is a bad habit because teeth are for cutting food and not for sucking things that aren't food. Anything you do on a regular basis will have an effect on your teeth later on. You wouldn't see changes now but maybe later in life or years or months from now, you will notice changes.

I would advise that you should taper down this kind of habit to avoid these changes that you might not like later on. Habit takes a long time to break, so start tapering down the frequency of you doing this. Eventually, you will be able to kick the habit.

The front teeth are usually more prone to injuries, and they are not as strong as the back teeth. Also if you injure them through this kind of habit, you might regret how they will look later on and will have to spend some bucks to have them fixed. Is that really something you are looking forward to?
