Answers:
I've just been through hell with first a crown repair, then an infection, then root canal, then another infection and redo for the root canal. Now it is slowly improving but it still doesn't feel 100%. European Doctors are crazy and don't give you antibiotics for anything! These problems happen far less the the USA but they try to do everything on the cheap here. They will say it is because of resistant germs but the real reason is they are cheap and get in trouble from their insurance if they spend any money.
If it doesn't get better soon call your Dentist.
I feel your pain so its all good the colorful adjective. Take the pain meds they gave you and try icing it down with a Ice pack. Contact you DDS if the pain intensifies. I had a root canal on my front tooth years ago so I know the feeling don't worry it will pass just hang in there!
I would call you the dentist who completed the root canal. A root canal should NOT be painful...the root canal is to relieve the pain not cause the pain. If you didn't get the root canal, you would still be in pain. Anyways, after a root canal is completed, it may be "hurt" for a day or two. The "pain" after a root canl should be less than before and pain should be decreasing. If the pain is still present a few days later, then it may be other problems, i.e. fracture root, extra canals, etc. Bottom line is call your dentist.
sorry to not answer the ques but u dont alow email, imight be getting a root canal tomarrow and i was just wondering if it hurt like while they were drilling out,
