What abotu injections?
Question:
Answers:
If you are really nervous about injections (IV induction), just ask it it is possible to have a gas induction... i'm sure they'd be able to do it... especially if they treat children at the hospital you are having the general anaesthetic, as that is the way they usually put them to sleep. If you are really worried, just ring the hospital department and ask... i'm sure they'll give u all the options and put ur mind at ease!
I dont like pricks either
jus take the gas shot n u wont evn knw
If you are under general anesthesia, they will place an IV either on your hand or arm, and give you some medication that will make you"sleepy". Also, they may give you some"gas" to help you "fall a sleep". Under general, you are not breathing on your own...are your sure that you are going under general or ar you talking about IV sedation?
Unless you are an extremely strong person w/ a very high pain tolerance the gas alone isn't going to do it. The gas slightly hightens your pain tolerance allowing an injection to be pretty much unnoticable or allows you to stay relaxed while they work on you.
wat treatment are you having first? if you don't mind me asking ?
Are you sure you need general anaesthetic? have you tried sedation? this is where you are awake but you do not remember what has happened, they do still need a needle and injection but if you try and relax i promise you will not feel it as much. When you are stressed and tense the needle fights against your muscle and you feel it 10times as much. If you can try to relax and not look at what is happening keep your mind busy then this may be a less risky option.
