About cavities?

Question:
why does having cavities make your breath smell bad?
does that bad smell go awake once you get the cavities checked and filled? how can you cure this bad breath besides getting them filled?

Answers:
A cavity is a rotting tooth as the others have said, and the reason why it's rotting is because it is a festering hole full of germs.

It is the germs in the festering hole that causes bad breath, and there is no way to fix it except to have the dentist drill out the rotten germ-infested parts of the tooth and fill it back up.

After the tooth is filled, it is up to you to keep your teeth clean so no new cavities develop.

Hope this helps.
The cavities make your breath stink because your teeth are truly rotting away in your mouth...kind of like a compost pile. You will never get rid of the halitosis unless you have your teeth taken care of.
When you have cavities your teeth are literally rotting in you mouth. The only way to totally get rid of the bad breath is to get the cavities fixed and practice good oral hygiene.
I agree with all the other repliers, cavities are rotting teeth . Get your teeth/gums checked and treated.
