Would wax used on braces help fill hole in tooth?

OMG, that must be sooo painful--- I had 4 root canals- I would rather give birth to a rhinoceros! Be careful applying the wax- you don't want it to go in real deep- just superficially so food and drink doesn't get up in there-and on that note--you REALLY need to see one ASAP---they will let you make payments--the reason you need to see one immediately is not just the pain, but the INFECTION you can get can be life threatening. It can actually get into your bloodstream and kill you, not to mention the fact that the worse it is infected, the more work they have to do---I had to have a canal dug along the upper gum line because of infection---very painful along with the root canal...please see a doc ASAP--your orthodontist should be able to refer you to a good oral surgeon that can help you...
No. It may actually cause an infection, and cost more $. So for now if it doesn't bother you that much you can wait. But you do need to get it taken care of ASAP, so it does not get worst, infected or kill the tooth.
yeah the wax helps
No that will not help. You need to find a dentist that will take payments and get this work taken care of ASAP.
no. dont use wax. get to a dentist quick.
Yes. In the short term the wax will help since it will keep air and cold out and away from the nerve. You can also add the gum numbing agents like ambesol, Zilactin (excellent).
But it won't last for long (no matter how many times you reapply the wax). Eventually you'll have to bite the bullet and get to the dentist.
The poster who said most dentists take payments is right. and that may be the route you need to go.
Good luck... Dental pain is the WORST!
