How can you become a good oral-maxillofacial surgeon?

Question:
I am in my first year of resident training for oral -maxillofacial surgery. It will take me four years to complete the programme. Seek advises.

Answers:
I am sure you will learn the basics. To get good, you must be good at working the interdisciplinary procedures such as with orthodontists, general dentists and other medical specialists. Even helping them out when they are not as good as you are.
Take advice from whoever taught you...
