Question:
What is the best way to reduce the appearance of white spots on teeth without getting my teeth bleached? The spots are near my gums... they're not too noticable, but they do bother me. Are there maybe any toothpastes? I really have no idea, so any information would help!
Thanks :)
Answers:
I have the same thing on my teeth. I was told by a dentist that whitening would whiten the whole tooth and the white spots would get whiter with the rest of the tooth so it would still be seen.
the white spots are decalcification. It is when the enamel become week. Make sure you are brushing the area well and use a fluoride rinse like act. It is possible for them to become cavities. Bleaching may be the only way by lighting the area around it.
dont worry they seem to be stains, they will come out when u get dental cleaning by the dentist, i have grey ones near my gums, dont worry about it, it will be all gone when u meet the dentist
