Pain after at home whitening?
Question:
Answers:
The whiter spots on the teeth are just dehydrated (which is a normal part of the process as the stain is drawn out of the tooth surface) and this will go away once the tooth rehdryates. If your teeth are already quite sensitive then the dehydration process and opening the pores of the teeth to draw out the stain is probably irritating the nerve of the tooth. This sensitivity is even more common in teens (which may not apply to you?) I would recommend to stop the whitening until you use a sensitive toothpaste on a regular basis for a few weeks and see if that helps...
Good luck!

I tried the whitening trays and it had the same effect. The box said that for people w/ already sensitive teeth it can increase sensitivity and/or cause minor pain. It also said that it may whiten some areas but not all :( Well I didnt have sensitive teeth to begin with but a year later...I do now since I tried it. I dont recommend them :(
I've heard you shouldn't use them if you have cavities. Is it is possible you do? That could be the pain. But I'm not sure.
don't do it again.
Sensitivity after bleaching is pretty normal. its a normal reaction after adding insult to the teeth but it will fade away. use fluoride toothpaste. and take some motrin after bleaching. its a little price you pay to have a whiter smile.
