it took me little over a week but it depends what you eat and stuff and how much like all i ate was yogurt and i remember havin fries one day worst thing i have ever done but its different for everyone
Were you teeth grown in or under the gums when they were removed? That probably makes a difference.
Mine were still under the gums, so I had stitches for a week. But even after getting the stitches out, I had holes in my gums and they lasted a long time! It didn't really hurt, it just felt weird and you have to make sure you rinse your mouth with salt water after you eat to get food pieces out of the holes. It probably took about 2 weeks after getting the stitches out for th holes to go away.
I got lucky and mine closed up in about two weeks. My gums were still quite soft in the back and very sensitive to the touch but the wounds were completely closed. It took about a month and a half for the gums to harden and fill in. Still being swollen after three or fours days seems completely normal to me especially if you got all four. Dry sockets cause an extreme amount of pain. If the pain starts getting worse, then I would start to worry. But if nothing gets worse than just keep waiting. The mouth is the fastest healing part of the body. Just stick it out and enjoy eating ice cream, apple sause and pudding for a couple more days. Call your surgeon if you get worried. They can usually assess you over the telephone.
