It really depends, I had my wisdom teeth taken out 2 days ago, and I hardly had problems with it. It may take you several days to eat hard foods. Yeah, I think so, take the pills that take away the pain. Add a ice pack to the area where your wisdom teeth supposed to be, and let the ice settle for 20 min for each side. Eat soft foods, the faster you follow the instructions the faster you can heal.

Take some like asprin or pain killer.
Ya dont wanna eat hard stuff cause you can ruin the openings. dont eat things with little seeds either.(sesame seeds, poppy seeds ect.)
just use a pain killer u can trust.
