Question:

Answers:
if pain killers wont work , try swishing with warm saltwater. it helped me.
Normal pain killers will work
go to your orthodontist and tell him to reduce the pressure if it's too much .
it will take years to be adjusted anyway ..lol
take some Advil. It should help
advil?
it will just hurt the 1st and or second day
a whole bunch of my friends had em. and they always say that the next say the pain goes away
Try to take an advil or ibuprofen. Also, eat soft foods like applesauce or pudding.
Take ibroprofen or tylenoyl. If it still hurts after a week, go back to your orthodontist and tell him it still hurts.
advil will help with pain and inflamation. tylenol only pain.
IBUPROPHEN is best for swelling and pain. Also maybe sucking on ice or eating ice cream, etc will help
The pain won't last long as your mouth "settles in" to the new braces. Still, to be sure, let your dentist know. He may be progressing a little too aggressively.

Just know this: You are VERY lucky to have parents who care enough to provide you with this treatment. It may very well end up being the nicest gift you will ever receive, and when it is finished, you will NEVER regret it.

Hang in there!
