Yesterday I had a root canal done (first phase) and the temporary filling seems to be falling out.?

My next appointment is August 16th. Can I wait to see the dentist until then or does the tooth need to be filled again immediately? I am taking an antibiotic.

The temp is called "cavit" and yes you should call the dentist and have more put in if you think it fell out. You need to be carefull with this stuff aviod chewing anything sticking on that side, because it will pull it right out.
The temporary filling will feel loose, but if it is bothering you call the dentist now. You do not want to be stuck waiting over the weekend if it does fall out.
