Do I stipulation to see my regular dentist formerly getting cosmetic dentistry?

It has be over 5 years since I've seen my dentist and I know that I enjoy several cavities that want to be taken care of. Also, my teeth are crooked and my front tooth have a chip, plus it is gradually deteriating because I use to put away alot of lemons and oranges. Do I need to see my regular dentist previously I can get cosmetic dentistry or can a cosmetic dentist purloin care of my other dental issues at matching time?
