Ok I think I own an abcess tooth, it has be hurting for a week now, and my gums hold a pocket above my tooth. I have doing research on the internet, give or take a few peridontal diease, and everything I have read consultation about tooth disintegration, cavities, etc. Is it possible that I own a abcess tooth, I don't have tooth putrefaction or any cavities? If not a abcess tooth what could it be. It is exceedingly painful and swollen, beside sensitivity spreading throughout the sourrounding teeth. I have never have any teeth problems or even a toothache, and I am 21. What do you think?
Answers: I would guess it's an abscess.... telephone your dentist on Monday morning and ask to be seen on an emergency starting place. If it is an abscess, you'll be put on antibiotics for a week to 10 days, then necessitate to decide to any have root conduit treatment done or have the tooth extracted.
Do you know for sure that you don't hold any cavities? If you haven't see a dentist in the final year, it's time to go.
Good luck to you~
es, that sounds approaching an abcess. Call your dentist as soon as you can.
