If they give you a choice,Oral Sergion. You want put out.Having a dentist do it can be done but you run the risk of it breaking off.Not good.If they put you out, your out.
I think put you to sleep for that
Hi! I've been in dentistry for over 25 years and YES please get the tooth pulled. It only hurts for a day or so and pain meds will stop this almost 100%. But the end result is worth any pain when you see it. Please do this as soon as possible as it is easier to move teeth and the jaw when you are under 18 then after. Once you get this all done, you will forget any pain and love your new look. Your jaw and teeth will look great and you will love looking in the mirrow. Please do this, don't worry, I promise you will love the end result and the pain is really not that bad. If you have any other questions, ask any time. Marie
hey dont worry about it. im 14 too and i just got all of my back teeth pulled 4 of them in all. yes the put you to sleep for a little with some laughin gas(no you dont laugh). but then once you wake up the teeth are gone and your all done. you dont feel anything at all. when you get home you may be sore for a few days but it gets a lot better as more days go by. so dont worry youll be just fine.
if you are going to an oral surgeon they usually put you to sleep, and that part is awesome ;-) you will be asleep before anything happens . if you are going to a regular dentist to have it pulled then they usually don't put you to sleep. they numb the area and sometimes they use laughing gas. while it's being pulled it doesn't hurt you an just tell there is something going on. really it doesn't hurt till an hour or so when the numbing wears off, but they give you pain pills that take that away
