Hello, I would like to know what option is better, to get an implant or a root canal.?

Question:

Answers:
A root canal if you can save the tooth and have a crown placed after completion. If it is unsaveable. Implants are a great way to go. Although they are a bit expensive (can range to about 3000) they work well. I would set up a consultation with your general dentist for your tooth replacement/restorative options.
what kind of implant? sorry don't get the question.
A root canal and crown means you get to keep your own tooth, an implant you lose the tooth and a titanium screw, implant replica, abutment, and crown are placed in place of the real tooth. I think a natural tooth is a great option to keep but if the dentist says it has to go an implant is a very conservative option for replacing the missing tooth, but easier to deal with then a bridge to fill the space.
Get your teeth fixed first. Worry about new boobs later. :)
both ways you'll need a crown, so go for the root canal if you want to spend as little as possible.
Something to consider about implants is how much bone there is in that area. You have to have plenty of bone clearance especially for an upper tooth because of the possibility of getting into the sinus. If your dentist feels he can successfully treat the tooth with a root canal and then a crown, I would do that route. It is cheaper and it is still your own tooth, just with a little added "jewelery"
depending if your existing tooth is strong enough(is it loose at all? is it fractured to a point where there is no tooth structure other than just the roots?) if the answer to these two questions is no then i would go for the root canal. not only is it shorter procedure, time wise but it is considerably less expensive. an implant takes months to finally complete. after your root canal is done you'll need a crown. go to an endodontist(root canal specialist) for your root canal. you can see a general dentist for your crown.
good luck!
