No, it's not true black bands are just as safe a as clear bands. Your friend probably wasn't brushing her teeth good, while wearing her black bands.
I have had black bands and no, they did not stain my teeth. Maybe hers were different, so I cannot guarentee it, but no, in all of my cases they have not stained anything in my mouth for that matter. Hope I helped!
I think it's true, but I'm not positive. I'm going to be getting braces sometime soon, but I don't that much about them yet.
Well, being that rubberbands dont even touch your teeth, i dunno how it could stain them but my friend had them the entire time she had braces and nothing happened, so i would say GO FOR IT!!1
no i had braces for 2 years and i had all sorts of colored bands including black and i have no stains on my teeth now
I can speak with experience. Black bands don't stain, in fact, if you keep your teeth well brushed, they make your pearly whites whiter. If you neglect them however, the bands will make your teeth look increasing yellow and, though color does not matter in this regard, the braces will leaves marks that will damge your teeth's color. Long story short: KEEP BRUSHING. Trust me.
I've had black bands before and they didnt stain my teeth maybe his frend didnt take care of his teeth well.
I doubt it.
If that happens then orthodontists won't order black anymore.
enamel is tough to stain. you pretty much have to smoke, drink wine coffee 20 hours a day.
