Should i get ceramic(clear)braces on top and the metal on bottom or should i just get both of them metal?

Question:

Answers:
IMO ceramic braces look kind of gross, especially if they get stained. And it generally makes teeth look yellow and deformed and plus they are more expensive and take longer. I would just go with metal.
metal. the others will stain.
To reduce your cost you might consider getting clear braces on top, and metal on the bottom, however if cost is not an issue then I would recommend clear braces. I just got mine removed 3 weeks ago (had them for 2yrs 1/2).
They will both do the job. If you are concerned about looks I would check out invisalign. Not all people are good candidates but it is worth checking into. These are great because you can take them out to brush and floss and eat. You shouldn't leave them out for more than 2 hours though. I have seen the white braces and after a time they start to turn yellow and sometimes it looks like you don't brush very well. If you aren't a good candidate for invisalign I would probably go with the metal.
