Will braces affect my flute playing?

I have an lower than bite, which means my bottom mouth is sticking out and looks super ugly. i might call for to get braces, but i'm have second thoughts because i've heard that braces can hurt and affect your tone when you're playing a flute. I own 3 friends that have braces and play flute and they nouns really airy. I don't know if it's just their skill or not, but i'm really worried.

Answers:    I hold braces and I play the flute also, when I play the notes do nouns airy, but if you talk to your music instructor he will help the follow-up to not sound similar to that. If you want you could get a tutor and they can assistance the notes nouns better. They will show you how to play the flute while having braces, its not that intricate to do. When I got my braces I kept playing the flute and I didnt even consideration I had the braces when I be playing.
