Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction - - horrible to have
but, it may just be temporary - I hope so - good luck
You might have TMJ, which is a jaw condition which makes your jaw click. Definately ask a doctor or dentist about it, they will be able to help you out much more than someone on Yahoo! can
It sounds like you may have TMJ (TemporoMandibular Joints disorder)
You can treat your TM disorder symptoms by reducing muscle tension and stress on the jaw. Initially, resting the jaw joint, short-term use of anti-inflammatory medicines or muscle relaxants, applying hot moist compresses to painful areas, and eating soft foods can help reduce pain. Physical therapy and stress-reduction skills training may also help to reduce pain and TM joint problems.
If you continue to have pain call an orthodontist to see if you can have a jaw splint made for you. Good Luck!
