SURE IF YOU LOOK LIKE DUMB AND DUMBER
The only way anyone can tell how bad it really is, is with an x-ray. I have seen many people who believed they just have a slightly chipped tooth, but in reality they have cracked it down the middle. I hope that this is not the case for you, but you won't know until you see a dentist. Good luck!
I recommend you see your dentist asap. Small chip or big. Your dentist will take an x-ray of your tooth to determine the extend of damage and then start a restoration process immediately. Small chips could lead to larger cracks in the long run due to pressure from chewing or even decay. Your dentist can easily fill the small crack so as to prevent further damage of your precious tooth.
Ignoring your dental problems is not the solution. It can be disastrous in the long run.

Take care.
you should go to the dentist right away. the longer you wait, the more painful and the more work that they have to do to it. if you think you chipped a tooth when a peice of your tooth fell out, you probley chipped it. if that happens, go to the dentist and you wont be in as much pain.
