I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed 3 months ago... it doesnt hurt for a year. the pain stopped after about 2 days.
Anyways, most dentists will suggest that you get them removed before you're 25. Most wisdom teeth will eventually start causing damage and will need to be removed so it is best to do when the roots are still small and there is less risk of damage once they are removed.
Just because you dont have dental insurance shouldn't stop you from getting them removed if they are going to cause you pain and discomfort. I don't have dental insurance either and paid about $2,000 to get all 4 removed while being under anesthesia.
I suggest you go talk to a dentist. You will most likely have to get xrays taken of your teeth, which can be a little pricey but it's better to pay now and be able to relax later.
It like being the kid again, when a tooth is erupting, it irritates a bit and you want to rub the gum, so you rub with your tongue. The wisdom tooth if not giving problems, leave it alone, otherwise you would lose your wisdom.
do u feel it growing in a diagonal position? i think u should have it checked with a dentist asap... cuz as it grows(if its diagonal), its gna slowly scrape away the enamel of ur 2nd molars and thats gna hurt more! and infection can occur too... it almost happened to me and it wasnt good... also a cavity can grow in ur 2nd molars... go to a dentist ok? hope this helped...
wow.i feel the same way!mine r just growing in,i tried putting tissue in that corner of my mouth and it kind of calmed the pain down. But my mom says getting wisdom teeth pulled hurts 4 practically a year!
You should always have your wisdom teeth taken out because they are so far back that it makes it harder to keep them clean and that makes it easier for them to get infected. Not only that is most people do not have a large enough jaw to support there wisdom teeth so when they come in they will cause your other teeth to shift and move.
