are my wires not tightened enough

Answers:
I didn't feel much pain either, so you aren't alone. I wouldn't worry, your braces are fine, being as how they were just put on and your orthodontist is a professional. You may feel minor discomfort as the day rolls on, but I would say you are pretty lucky to be feeling fine.
When I first got my braces in, I had no pain either. The first time I felt pain was after my first tightening. You should be fine though. Truthfully, the braces hurt more coming off than going on!
Hope that helped and good luck!
Some people don't notice the pain of braces. If you have had braces before, you might not feel the pain because you are already used to it.
Good they don't hurt. I remember them being sore for a couple days post tightening, but it's not all that bad. You get used to it. David.
Thats good! Haha, when I got my braces on they only hurt the first night and the first wire change. Yay, no pain! (=
Dont get to excited there, thats what I thought...and then about a day later I thought my mouth was going to fall out...the pain is going to come...be prepared
thats great! your lucky!
i never had that much pain after i got mine on too...i did feel it was really awkward to eat...however, a day or two later my teeth did start to feel abit tender
when you get your braces tightened you will feel pain, no doubt but hopefully it wont be as bad for you as it is for some people and sometimes you wont feel pain at all because youll just get used to the tightness of everything
sometiems after my appointments, i never hurt at all either!
they wont tighten your wires too much at first...plus i dont know what your situation is but your probabaly one of those people who yes, does need braces but you dont have as many problems as other people do, so theres less work to ultimatly get done
if the hurt does start, its different for everyone but itll last a few days but since its the first time it might just feel a bit longer and dragged out. just take some advil or tylenol if you feel anything comming on
Tomorrow, my dear. You will know. I have to laugh, when I got mine on, the office called to see how I was doing on the third day. 2nd day really hurt, 3rd day much better. They knew what they were doing by waiting.

Additionally, moving the teeth too quickly is not a good idea. Be glad if they don't ever hurt cause it can mean that they are moving the teeth gradually. Don't worry, the dds will get them where they belong.
I prepared for the worse when my daughter got her braces-bought baby food in case she had trouble with pain when eating. Well, she did not have any serious pain. The baby food was a waste of money. So I guess you too are an exception.
My son is 11 and he got braces put on 2 weeks ago. He has had no pain whatsoever. The braces don't bother him at all. I'm sure this will all change when we go for his first tightening.
I'm glad you are not in pain either.
Good Luck with your braces.
