When you say sing, or sam, where is your tounge when you pronounce the "S"?
Question:
Answers:
In the top of my mouth,
just behind my two front teeth.
At the bottom of my mouth, the back pressed down slightly. The tip of my tongue touches the back of my lower teeth, and you would almost get the same pressure and feel if you pretended to gag. Strange, yes, but that is how it feels. Instead of your tongue going up, press the tip down. Hope you lose your lisp!
Right below my two front teeth, just touching the top of my mouth right below the two front teeth.
Try, whenever you say a word and you have a lisp, make a face, hard to explain but for instance..
try saying "sam" but this time, smile, causing your tongue to be in a different place than if it were if you didn't smile.
Kind of put your theeth together, and scrunch your face up while you say it, did it work?
I've never had a lisp, i was just thinking what it would be like to have one.
Good luck to you!
xx
Hi. Try putting your top and bottom molars (back teeth) together, as if you're grinning. In other words, grit your teeth gently, then focus on moving your tongue just a little back away from your front teeth.
Let us know if any of this helps. :-) bbjo.
it's between your top teeth and bottom ones.just behund your 2 front top and bottom teeth.
you can check by pronouncing the letter 2 and slowing seperating your top teeth from the bottom
In my mouth.
