A have braces and they really hurt my teeth i need help to know what to use to relive the pain PLEASE HELP!!

Also call the orthodontist. Sometimes that can give you a prescription for numbing gel for your gums
ibuprophen shoud do the trick
ask the dentist to untighten them or just leave it and deal with it as think how lovely ur teeth will be when your braces comes off

Ibuprofen works pretty good.
Take some aspirin or motrin...Those pain killers pretty much releive any pain.Once your teeth loosen up a bit, the pain will go away...Don't forget to use the wax they gave you so you don't cut the inside of your mouth.Don't worry...It gets better! And just think how great your teeth will look!
Been there--done that-got the T-shirt! ADVIL ADVIL ADVIL (consult with a parent if you are under 18!) Also, if the braces are rubbing on your inner lip, use the soft wax they should have given you to coat the bracket that is rubbing---
AW i have braces and they do hurt. just take normal pain killers like paracetamol. it takes my pain away quite quick.Or if you dont have that something just similar.
Take some tylenol or there is paste that you can rub in your mouth to relieve pain. Been there! If it doesn't hurt at first or when they adjust them, then the braces probably aren't working.
You can take some over the counter pain killers and if the pain persists you may need to go back to the dentist for a adjustment.
if u just recently got them then the pain will just go away soon. maybe try wax. my orthodontis gave me wax to put on them so them wouldnt hurt but i never used it.
try a cold drink. But not much to do other than drugs (legal).. it will hurt less in a few days... sorry!
when i first got my braces on, they hurt like hell and for the first few days, i couldn't bite into any hard food such as cereal, chips, hard bread. don't worry after a few days they'll go away until the next time you get them tightened.
My visit to my dentist back on July 13th, I had 2 of my wisdom teeth removed, I was given shots of Novocaine, there was lots of bleeding thereafter. Before I left the office that day I was given a prescription, for Motrin Ibuprofen to alleviate the excruciating pain while my cheeks were swollen. That's from my own personal experience.
yep everyone is right about the ibuprofen. My brother had braces and this relieved his pain. It is because ibuprofen is a very powerful anti inflammatory. Another thing you can do is on the day or the next day too if you need is eat soft foods like bananas, grits, scrambled eggs, oatmeal and pudding. Every time my brother would have his braces tightened for my mom would order a pizza for supper. It was just a weird coincidence. I am sure you know how hard it is to eat piza after you have just had your braces tightened. Well he would actually grind his pizza up in a blender and eat it out of a cup. lol He said it was pretty good.
see if they still hurt after a day or two and if it does talk to your dentist about it
