you will need a mold of your teeth to get a true mouth guard - this has to be done in person with a dentist ... you can ask around and see if any dentists in your area will do this for you and then let you purchase/keep the molds to send off as you please
You need to go to dentist for that. If you something where there is no one who is properly trained and you aren't there, a lot can go wrong. First, you need to be there so they can equilibrate (or even out) the bite with the opposing teeth. Secondly, a lot of doctors are not TMJ specialists, so imagine who you might find on the internet. Scary. If you don't go to someone properly trained, your jaw will hate you for it!Good luck!
I wouldn't buy a mouth guard from a sports shop let alone off the net!
You need to visit your dentist and have a mould taken of your own mouth, the mouth guard is made to fit your own mouth and yours alone.
There are some very un ethical people on the net claiming to be somebody there not and will be more than happy to scam you out of money, make an appointment to see a dentist at least that way you'll know what your getting is the real deal.
