I have a really bad toothache, and its causing me to have bad headaches that i can feel in my ears ?

Question:
It makes me dizzy? Ive tried everything it only works for a little while.

Answers:
That sort of pain means that you have an abcess in the tooth. You have an infection in the tooth and you need to get to the dentist to get on some penilcillin for about a week to clear it up. Ibuprofen will work only after you are on antibiotics.
Get to the dentist right away. You might have a cavity. If you don't get it taken care of it can result in death. You really need to go see a dentist asap. I have read stories and heard on the news in the past about people dying because of a cavity left untreated.
maybe its your wisdom teeth coming in...
You have to see a dentist a.s.a.p. In the mean time the only thing you can do is take either aspirin or I take Excedrin tension headache medicine. Also try to wash your mouth out with warm salt water. Good Luck hope this helps you..
Ok honestly you need to go see a dentist. This kinda happened to me. I had my wisdom teeth came in, and one was so bad it was rotten. I got the worst headaches and toothaches, then one night I felt like I was about to die cause of the pain. I went all dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out. It freaked me out. I still dont know if it was shock from all the pain or a panic attack (I think it was the later, but that would have been the first time that happened)
Go to the dentist, if you are afraid of the dentist then you just have to go (I hate the dentist so I know). If you dont have insurance (like me) go to http://www.carecredit.com/
thats what I used
It needs to be looked at
Good luck :)
Yes, please see a dentist asap.
You may have an infection.

You can go to a drug store [sometimes the drug aisle of the grocery] and purchase "clove oil" [aka oil of cloves].
It will temporarily relieve the pain if you have a cavity or fracture or decay beneath an older loosened/shrunken filling.

Take aspirin or nuprin or acetaminophen , etc.
Don't take more than the recommended dosage unless a doctor instructs.
Avoid alcohol, esp. with acetaminophen because you can cause damage to your liver.

Check your phone book or Google "local" for an emergency dentist; many areas have 24hr. offices.

If you can't find the above, press the issue of needing emergency treatment if you phone a dentist that has standard hours.

If you feel that you are in a severe situation I've read that some emergency rooms do have dentist on call.
I would phone ahead to find out the particular requirement for that kind of situation.

If it's a matter of money, extraction is the least costly procedure.
Most dentists can make a payment plan for other treatments.

Get Well and good luck
