Take up smoking.
Get fake nails I bet you can't chew through acrylic!
you can go to a chemist or a department store that sells cosmetics and buy a nail polish for nail biters. It works as it tastes terrible
At the store they have stuff you can put on them, that is non-toxic and it tastes awful. They only have it at superstores like wal-mart, or big meijers. Or you can just put nail hardener on them on the underside and it will taste bad when you bite down.
Well, this is extreme, but one of my friends put rubbing alcohol n their nail, VERY DANGEROUS. It helped her stop though. By best advice is, just not to worry about anything and don't think about chewing them...
chew gum.
i know it sounds simple... but...
transfer that frustration to another thing.
Chew gum.
when ur gona chew it stop easy get ur mind of it
well they use to tell me to dip my fingers in bleach. although bleach is poisoness and i shouldn't recommend this. dip them in bleach which will help make them all white and clean as well. but wash your hands after and do it everyday and believe me you will stop chewing your nails or get use to the taste of bleach. its absolutely revolting and will taste sourish and make you want to stop because the taste is disgusting. also you could try spraying the pc duster or can of air you might now it as. the stuff with the dust resistance spray that on your finger nails and get the wet stuff on them and chew away at your nails. thats stuff is horrible. well good luck bad habits are hard to break but it can be done.
I used to bite my nails also. I was able to stop by wearing fake nails for a while (they were too hard to bite, lol). After having my nails done for 6 months or so, the habit was broken and I haven't bit my nails in over 6 years. I stopped having my nails done at that point because it was beginning to damage my real nail, but I made sure I kept them painted all the time (this promotes nail growth). There is also some stuff you can buy to paint your nails with that will keep you from biting them. This is an inexpensive alternative. The ones I've seen are either hot or simply taste awful. Good Luck!
put the clear hardener stuff on them it taste nasty
there is something like nail polish out there that you apply to your nails and it goes on clear and when you go to chew them you will get a very gross nasty taste in your mouth. this stuff works i use to chew my nails to but after this i dont any more it works.
