Question about Braces?

Question:

A while back my orthodontist put a clear plastic link type thing on my braces that joined my two front teeth. One end was on one front tooth and the other end was on the other front tooth.

Anyway I ate a curry, and the clear plastic turned bright yellow!! It looked awful and I cut it out with nail scissors. I've seen my orthodontist since then and she didnt say anything, I just wanted to check thatI havent caused any long term damage?

I agree. If there was anything wrong, the orthodontist would have said something. But to ease your fears, you may want to call the orthodontist's office and ask about that.

I'm sure if you did she would of said something...but next time you go you might want to say something to her.

you need to tell him what you did ... he sees too many patients to remember everything and they rely on you to tell them ...

Tell him what you did. If you don't you will probably just have to have them on longer.
