I fainted and hit my front teeth on the tub - they hurt so bad.?

Question:
Apparantly I bought some bad food from the store and I woke up at 2 am Wensday morning to throw up, my boyfriend went to go get me some water and he was throwing up. I never did throw up but did manage to pass out while I was on the toilet, I fainted I don't remember it. But I woke up to him coming in the room, a puddle of blood on the floor from me falling forward on the tub. My top 4 front teeth are very sore even when my tongue lightly rubs on them, I can't bite down, can't close my mouth completly, my lip is busted. My teeth are not cracked but I do have small white lines at the top of 2 of my teeth. Its been over 36 hours and it still hurts. Should I see a dentist? What could he do for me?

Answers:
definetly see a dentist. it doesnt sound too good what you did. you probably did something to the top part of your teeth, around your upper lip. you might have done something to the teeth under the gum, too, so you might need an xray.
hope this helps and you get better :)
I would go to the dentist asap! You could have killed the nerves/root.
yes you probably should see a dentist..your nerves in those teeth may have died so you might need a root canal.
well visiting a dentest would be the best idea because it could of pushed your teeth in your gum and that can cause teeth groth defects
You teeth may be cracked even though it might not look like so to you. Your dentist will take dental x-rays to determine the extend of damage. The are several procedures that could be done to restore your teeth depending on the nature of injury. Ignoring the pain is not a wise thing to do. If the teeth is broken or chipped, it could lead to tooth decay in the long run and believe me you don't want to go that route. I have been there and it is devastating. Tooth decay will mean increased pain, possibility of loosing your teeth and more money will be need to repair your teeth.
Take care.
Go to the dentist! you could have ruined the roots or even loosened them!!!!
Yes. Go see a dentist asap. Not sure what he/she would do...but I'm afraid the nerves inside your teeth could be dying. You could loose those teeth.
