My tooth chipped last night. Anything I can do about it until I get to the dentist?

Question: It's the back lower jaw tooth. Very sharp and irritating my tongue when I swallow.

I think you are supposed to put the chipped part of the tooth in milk, to sustain it. You NEED to get to the dentist ASAP so they can repair it!

Pharmacys carry these thins to put over your tooth so if it is sharp, etc- it wont bother you. You will find them in the toothpaste aisle!
