Wisdom teeth operation! still numb a little!?

Question:
It is Saturday and I had my wisdom teeth taken out on thursday and one half of my chin and bottom lip are still partially numb. When i lightly touch it i can feel it, but it is still about 75% numb, is this normal? I know that there is that risk of them hitting that nerve in your jaw bone that would make you stay numb for a while, but is this the case or is it a different case because i can sort of feel it. If i could get some professional advice i would really appreciate it.

Answers:
You are experiencing parathesia as a result of the anesthetic being placed. You should discuss this with your dentist who did the surgery. The feeling will usually return in time, but you should let your dentist evaluate this.
Looks like it could be normal. Check out these answers from a similar question. One answer was from a dentist, so it sounds pretty good: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...
