Im getting braces what color should I get?

My son had a choice of silver colored braces, or clear, I think ceramic, braces. The clear cost $500 more per arch, but we thought it was worth it to get the clear braces on the top. Unless you are really close to him, you don't even notice he has braces, they are that clear! He got the clear rubber bands on them too. On the bottom he got the silver colored braces, as he doesn't show his bottom teeth when he talks or smiles. If I were to get braces, I would definitely go for clear ones. I hope this helps.
I would say if you're scared then don't get colors until your next appointment... thats what i did...but i think red looks good on like anyone! seriously i was scared to get colors! funny but true... around valentine's day my othodontist suggested me to try red.and to my surprise it looked gorgeous!
Clear or metal tone.
your states football team color or blue, but DONT GET GREEN! It makes our teeth look like they have something in them. or how about grey! It's a netual so It will be subtile for the first couple of weeks
Pick your two favorite colors. Try them. Then if you like them, keep them. Or you could get sports team colors. Remember that every time you go to get your braces tightened (usually once a month), then you get to change the colors. Don't get black though, it makes your teeth look dirty. So does brown.
