My mom told me that she read the paper today and saw a article about a type of braces called "Speed Braces" that you only have to wear for 6 months. Can someone please give me some info. about them?

i heard it was some type of surgery to move your teeth intio the right positions then they put the braces on for 6 months to keep them in place
All I know is that there is a percedure where you have to have sugery and then get braces for 6 months I never heard of only having for 6 months if you need them for more.
