I'm 10 yrs. old and never been to the dentist what will happen when I go in a couple years?

I didn't go to a dentist until I was 18 (mostly due to insurance reasons). All they did was took x-rays and cleaned my teeth the first time I went. They found only 4 cavities (which really isn't all that bad considering. The dentist was very surprised). It really wasn't that bad. The worst part for me was the Novacaine...I hate needles. Just as long as you brush your teeth at least 2 times a day and you have no signs of cavities, you should be fine. And it really isn't that bad until you actually get there. He didn't find any signs of tooth decay and I brushed my teeth twice a day everyday.

you've never been to a dentist? well, one of the assistants will clean your teeth with fancy stuff (it tickles a little) and floss your teeth, then she/he will put floride in your mouth for about a minute..it's a little uncomfortable but no big deal..
then your dentist will come and use a little mirror and some tool to check for cavities. if you have cavities, your dentist will discuss with you and your parent/guardian about getting them removed..or if there's any other problems with your teeth they'll talk about those.

well first of all, being that you are 10, you should have already visited the dentist for check ups, if you haven't you definetely should.
Also dont be scared of the dentist, they don't want to harm you, just help. When you go, he/she will probably clean your teeth for you, and check for any signs of cavities. If you do have a cavity they will fill it in.
Finally at the end of the visit they will give you a goody bag!

I would go ask mom and Dad to take you now. You shouldn't wait. By not going they are subjecting you to having possible future dental problems. You might be ok now and with proper dental care your pearly whites can be pearly and YOURS for years to come.
The dentist will have you sit in the chair, A dental hygenist will clean your teeth so they are sparkly. They probaly will take X-rays of your mouth/teeth to see what is going on under your gum line. After everything is completed the dentsit will come in and exam each tooth. It really isn't a bad experience but it is a habit you need to get into now as young as possible.

It all depends on how well you take care of your teeth, they might check you, and have a perfect set of teeth, or your dentist will be in disbelief for seeing so much nastiness in such a small mouth. You can’t wait much longer, since the health of your gums can affect your health. (if they have to pull out rotten teeth, you will just be the youngest person with dentures)

THE DENTIST WILL CHECK YOUR TEETH AND MAYBE CLEAN THEM.SOMETIMES THEY DO X-RAYS TO CHECK YOUR GUMS AND STUFF.ITS NO BIG DEAL.
