Question:
Ok well i've had my bottom braces for 1-2 months now. And i just got my top braces today. I've realized that the brackets are all the way at the top of my teeth, near my gums. It kind of bothers me because it sort of looks down right stupid :p So i was wondering, is this for a reason? Will the brackets start to shift to the middle of my teeth as we start tp tighten them? PLEASE HELP!
Answers:
I would ask your Orthodontist, they might have a reason for this.
ask your orthodontist (sp?)
No they shouldnt move down to the middle of your teeth...they are supost to be tight in order to do their job. Depending on your situation with your teeth it was probably done for a reason in order to get them alligned properly. Iv seen kids with braces in lots of wacky places on the teeth. I saw one kid with one of the side of a crooked tooth once. Im sure it was done because of your situation.
Ask orthodontist, he can change them I bet
